Our Ingredients

 

Alcohol


Due to its anti-bacterial properties, alcohol is used in our Deodorizing Peppermint Foot Spray to help keep feet fresh and healthy. It also evaporates quickly, leaving feet dry and ready for any adventures ahead.

 

Baking Soda


Baking Soda, or Sodium Bicarbonate, is a gentle cleanser and water softener. When it combines with the citric acid in our bath bombs they balance one other, producing bubbles and softening your skin. It can also be used as an incredibly gentle exfoliator.

 

Beeswax


Made by the loveable honey bee, Beeswax is a natural humectant, meaning it pulls moisture out of the environment and locks it in to the skin. This keeps the skin soft and silky all day. We use sustainably sourced Beeswax in our lip balms as a protective barrier.

 

Beet Root Powder


Beets have a deep reddish purple color and high nutrient levels. This makes them an amazing natural ingredient for cosmetics. The vibrant pink of beet root powder creates a lovely rich color. Filled with Vitamin C, Vitamin B5 and Vitamin B1, this powder helps to nourish the skin and leave it glowing.

 

Benzyl Alcohol


Benzyl Alcohol naturally occurs in cranberries and apricots and is used to preserve products. Benzyl Alcohol is necessary to keep organic and natural skincare products safe from bacteria; otherwise you would need to refrigerate them.

 

Bergamot Essential Oil


Bergamot Oil is often called ''sunshine in a bottle'' due to its bright, fresh, citrus scent. It adds shine to hair and brightens the skin.

 

Black Pepper Essential oil


Black pepper oil is naturally warming. It helps to promote circulation and can relieve muscle pain. Filled with antioxidants and anti-viral properties, Black Pepper is the perfect addition to any bathtime routine.

 

Canola Oil


Canola Oil is packed with vitamins and minerals that help improve our skin's heath. Packed with Vitamin A, canola oil leaves skin feeling replenished and hydrated with out feeling greasy. It can also help reduce the appearance of fine lines and aging. With vitamin B, a powerful antioxidant, canola oil relives redness caused by acne, bug bites and sun burns.

 

Carnauba Wax


Carnauba wax is a hypoallergenic oil with a high melting making it perfect to help keep our lip bombs strong and stable. Made from the leaves of the Brazilian palm tree, known as the "tree of life" Carnauba wax is used as a vegan alterative to beeswax.

 

Castile Soap


Castile Soap is a naturally crafted soap base traditionally made from olive oil but can be made from hemp, avocado, coconuts, and more. Due to its natural ingredients, it is non-toxic, biodegradable and suitable for sensitive skin.

 

Castor Oil


Castor Oil is a thick, rich oil that is absorbed quickly by the skin to moisturize and help promote healthy skin. Packed with Omega fatty acids, it nourishes hair leaving it soft and smooth and aids in the bodys healing process.

 

Chamomile Flowers


Chamomile Flowers are commonly used in tea. This small yellow flower brings feelings of calm and relaxation. They also help soothe red inflamed skin while the light, floral aroma helps calm the mind.

 

Citric Acid


Citric acid is a weak organic acid that occurs naturally in citrus fruits. It is an Alpha Hyrdroxy Acid and is used in almost all bath bombs to create their fizzy reaction.

 

Clary Sage Essential Oil


Clary Sage is often associated with the purifying effects it has on the mind and body. It has a herbal, earthy aroma which helps calm and relax the mind. With a cooling effect on the skin and its antibacterial properties, it can be used to help treat and soothe acne.

 

Clove Bud Essential Oil


Clove Bud Oil is known to have a warm, spicy aroma that brings memories of pumpkin spice lattes and autumn leaves. It has a warming effect on the skin that helps to aid in circulation which make it perfect for cold nights.

 

Cocamidopropyl Betaine


Made from coconuts, Cocamidopropyl Betaine is added to create a luxurious lather that gently cleanses the skin from impurities. It gently cleanses and conditions the skin leaving it soft and smooth.

 

Cocoa Butter


Cocoa Butter is a dry butter that absorbs into the skin quickly, leaving skin refreshed and hydrated. It's made during the processing of cocoa beans, when the bean is separated into cocoa powder and cocoa butter.

 

Coconut Oil


Coconut Oil comes from coconuts and is filled with fatty acids that nourish and condition hair and skin. When used in hair, it helps fight dandruff and tames frizz while adding amazing shine. It gently removes dirt and oils as it melts in to the skin, providing all day moisture. If all of its physical benefits weren't enough, it also adds a light aroma to transport you to a tropical paradise.

 

Colloidal Oatmeal


Colloidal Oatmeal is finely ground oatmeal powder. It has the ability to relieve dry, inflamed skin and makes it the prefect addition to any bathtime routine. When added to a warm bath this fine powder creates a rich, moisturizing soak that helps to relieve skin irritation due to sun burns, eczema, bug bites and general dryness. By creating a protective barrier, colloidal oatmeal keeps skin soft and smooth all day long.

 

Corn Starch


Corn starch is found in your kitchen and also in cosmetics! It is commonly used to help treat minor skin irritations such as bug bites and itchy skin. Corn starch is what gives our happy doh its ability to be molded easily and provides a soft smooth texture. Our packing peanuts are made from corn starch making them biodegradable.

 

Dilauryl Citrate


Derived from citric acid, it helps to keep skin and hair in good condition, keeping skin soft.

 

EDTA


Ethylenediaminetetraacetic Acid, also know as EDTA or Calcium Disodium Edathamil, is a type of calcium that is used as a stabilizing ingredient. It prevents the growth of bacteria and improves the foaming action in body washes, soaps and cleansers.

 

Emlsifying Wax


Emulsifying Wax is a magical ingredient that binds oil to water. It is a key ingredient in lotions and also helps by providing them with a smoother texture on the skin.

 

Epsom salt


Epsom salt helps soothe sore muscles and release tension when added to a warm bath.

Our fragrances are proprietary blends of skin-friendly natural and artificial fragrances that you won't find anywhere else. While we prefer to use 100% natural products whenever we can, sometimes making fragrances such as cotton candy is not possible without a little help from artificial fragrance. All our fragrances are skin safe and tested on owners, not animals.

 

French Lavender Essential Oil


French Lavender is one of the most commonly used essential oils due to its calming effects on the mind. Whether you prefer a shower or a bath, our "Relaxation" line has you covered. It soothes irritated skin and provides the floral aroma Lavender is known for.

Ginger is commonly used in aromatherapy to help with nausea, headaches, colds and more. It is used in our "Unwind" line of products. Ginger oil helps ease sore muscles making it the perfect addition to a warm bath. With its strong, warm, and spicy aroma it soothes mind and body, and allows you to unwind from the stress of the day.

 

Glycerin


Glycerine is a moisturizer made from soybean, corn, canola, or coconut. It’s a humectant, meaning it can draw moisture from the air and lock it in to the skin. As it's absorbed it pulls other ingredients in to the skin to get the best results possible.

 

Grapefruit Essential Oil


Known for its antibacterial properties, Grapefruit Oil helps brighten, tone, and decongest the skin. Its uplifting scent stimulates the mind and body. Grapefruit Oil is filled with antioxidants that fight the signs of aging caused by free radicals.

 

Grapeseed Oil


Grapeseed Oil is filled with high levels of Vitamin E. This easy to absorb oil is like a multivitamin for the skin. With anti-inflammatory properties, it can reduce redness caused by sunburns, bug bites and more. It can also help treat acne caused by P bacteria due to its anti- bacterial properties.

 

Himalayan Cedarwood


With anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties, Himalayan Cedarwood Oil can be used to treat minor skin conditions such as acne, rosacea and minor cuts. It has a warm, woody aroma.

 

Honey


Honey is an amazing natural preservative that not only extends the shelf life of a product but also adds a sweet scent to it. Due to honeys anti-bacterial properties, it can aid healing the skin from minor cuts and reduce the appearance of acne.

 

Iron Oxide


Iron Oxide occurs naturally and produces a variety of hues in the red, yellow and orange range.

 

Jojoba Oil


Jojoba Oil is a real hero. It has a pH of 4.5- 5.0 and closely mimics the pH of our body's natural oils, making it the easiest oil for our bodies to absorb. As Jojoba Oil is absorbed, it helps carry other ingredients into the skin providing the moisture and nuttition your skin needs without leaving it feeling greasy. Packed with Vitamin E, it helps keep skin glowing and healthy.

 

Juniper Berry Essential Oil


Juniper Berry Oil has a spicy, woody scent that helps calm the mind. As a highly effective astringent, Juniper Berry Oil helps to detox the skin from dirt, oils and other impurities. It can also help to relive pain from sore muscles.

 

Kaolin Clay


White clay (Kaolin Clay), has a very fine texture that helps create the silky bubbles in our products. It is also used to detoxify the skin from dirt and oils while its ultra fine texture gently exfoliates the skin leaving it soft and smooth.

 

Lauric Acid


Lauric Acid is found in coconuts, milk, and palm kernel oil. This ingredient has many benefits for the skin including anti-aging and anti-bacterial properties and helps soothe inflamed skin. Lauric acid has also been used to help treat acne.

 

Lavender Essential Oil


Lavender is best known for its amazing ability to relax the body, calm the mind, and aid in sleep. Lavender 40/42 is an oil containing 40% linalool and 42% linalyl acetate. These two properties give lavender oil its distinct aroma.

 

Lemon Essential Oil


Lemon oil is known for its bright and uplifting aroma which brings feelings of happiness. It is used to help brighten and rejuvenate the skin.

 

Lime Essential Oil


Used in folklore for its purifying properties, Lime Oil is known for its refreshing and cheerful scent. It is used to help with cold symptoms.

 

Magnesium Chloride


Magnesium Chloride helps soothe sore muscles and release tension when added to a warm bath. It’s an easy way for our bodies to absorb magnesium through the skin.

 

Mica


Mica Powder is made by grinding down mica stones to a fine powder. Once purified, this powder has a shimmery, almost pearl-like effect. When added to our bath bombs, it creates a mesmerizing effect on the water as you soak your cares away.

 

Mineral Oil


Mineral oil is used in many products to help protect the skin from losing water. It pulls moisture from the environment and locks it in to the skin keeping it moisturized for longer. Considered to be one of the most non-sensitizing moisturizing ingredients, it is safe for all skin types and all ages.

 

Moringa Leaf Powder


Moringa Leaf Powder is packed with vitamins and minerals. With Vitamin C and Vitamin A, it helps to reduce the signs of aging and stimulates the production of collagen. Filled with antioxidants, Moringa Leaf Powder can be used to help treat acne.

 

Olive Oil


Olive Oil mimics our natural oils making it easy for the skin to absorb and reap all of its benefits. Olive oil is filled with antioxidants that help prevent the appearance of aging and acne.

 

Palm Oil


Hydrogenated Palm Oil remains in a solid state at room temperature. This helps our soaps keep their shape. Palm Oil is very hydrating and can be used to help relieve itchy, dry skin leaving it soft and smooth.

 

Peppermint Essential Oil


Peppermint oil has been known to have antiseptic properties that can help with cold symptoms, making it perfect for our line of Cold Buster products. It has a cooling effect on the skin that helps soothe muscles and relieve the itch from bug bites.

 

Plant-based Emulsifier


Plat-based Emulsifiers such as candelilla wax or carnauba wax are naturally derived ingredients that help other ingredients such as water and oil to mix easer. By allowing these type of ingredients to mix it allows us to create a better texture for our products without shortening their shelf life.

 

Polyglyceryl-4 Laurate


This is a naturally derived cleanser, made from Sunflower Seed, Rape Seed or Caster Oil.

 

Polysorbate 20


Polysorbate 20 is found in nature in many types of fruits, such as apples, pears, peaches and more. It's most commonly used as an emulsifier as it allows other ingredients, such as water and oil, to mix together. This improves the texture and provides a longer shelf life. Since it is found in sweet smelling fruits, it brings an extra hint of sweetness to our products.

 

Potassium Bitartrate


Potassium Bitartrate, also known as Cream of Tartar, is used to stabilize and harden bath bombs

 

Saponified Coconut Oil


Potassium Cocoate is an excellent foaming ingredient that creates a ton of bubbles in your tub. Made from the salts found in the flesh of coconuts it is a natural moisturizer that helps hydrate skin and hair, leaving it soft and smooth.

 

Propanediol


Propanediol occurs naturally in corn. It works as a humectant pulling moisture out of the environment and locking it in to the skin. As propanediol is absorbed by the skin it enhances the penetration of other ingredients moisturizing the skin, leaving it soft and glowing.

 

Propylene Glycol


Propylene Glycol functions as a humectant, meaning it helps pull moisture from the environment and locks it in to the skin.

 

Red Mica


This natural shiny red stone is ground down to create a fine smooth powder. With its bright red metallic appearance, it is commonly used to color products and add shimmer to the skin.

 

Rosemary Essential Oil


Rosemary Oil has a woody, herbal aroma that is uplifting to the mind and body. It is great for clearing and warming the skin.

 

Safflower Oil


Safflower Oil is filled with antioxidants that help promote good health of the skin. It’s absorbed easily leaving the skin hydrated and smooth.

 

Salicylic acid


Salicylic Acid is best known for its exfoliating properties. It removes dead skin cells and dirt. By removing these impurities, it allows other ingredients in our Hand and Body Lotion to penetrate further in to the skin leaving it hydrated and glowing.

Saponifed oils are vegetable oils that have been treated with heat and potassium hydroxide to create soap. This process is called saponification which gives soap its ability to remove dirt and oils from the skin.

Scotch Pine Essential Oil


Scotch Pine Oil is known to ease symptoms of inflammatory skin conditions, such as acne, eczema, and rosacea. It can alleviate pain from related health conditions, such as arthritis and muscle pain, making it the perfect addition to any bath.

 

Shea Butter


Shea butter closely resembles the oils in our skin making it easy to absorb its nourishing and moisturizing properties. As it is drawn in to the skin, it helps other ingredients easily absorb as well. Containing vitamins A and E, shea butter can help reduce the appearance of skin blemishes and aid in the production of collagen.

 

Slick Fix


Slick Fix is a finely ground powder made from tapioca starch that has been specially formulated to lock in oils. Used in our bath bomb, bubble bombs and bubble bars, Slick Fix helps to add moisturizing oils to your bath.

 

Saponified Coconut Oil


Sodium Cocoate is a natural alternative to synthetic chemicals commonly used as a base in soap making. Derived from coconut oil, it acts as a natural cleanser cleaning the skin without leaving it feeling dry.

 

Sodium Hydroxide


Sodium Hydroxide is used in cosmetics to help stabilize the pH of a product which in turn, lengthen the shelf life.

 

Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate


Derived from coconut and palm oil, SLSa is 100 percent natural. SLSa is a fine powder used in our mini bubble bombs to create an explosion of colorful bubbles. As it interacts with water it creates thick, silky bubbles that gently remove excess oils, dirt and impurities from the skin.

 

Sorbic Acid


Sorbic Acid functions as a preservative and antifungal agent. It occurs naturally in berries of the Mountain Ash.

 

Sorbitan Laurate


This is a cleansing agent dericed from potatoes

 

Sorbitan Oleate


Sorbitan Oleate is an emulsifier. It helps other ingredients such as water and oil mix together.

 

Sorbitol


Sorbitol is a naturally occurring sugar acid found in most fruits such as apples, plums, peaches and figs. Used in our products as a humectant, it pulls moisture out of the environment locking it in to the skin.

 

Spearmint Essential Oil


Spearmint has a cooling, tingly effect on the skin that can relieve dry and itchy skin. As an astringent, spearmint naturally cleanses the skin leaving it refreshed and glowing. It has an invigorating scent similar to peppermint.

 

Stearic Acid


Stearic Acid is a major component of cocoa butter and shea butter. It protects the skins natural barrier from water loss, keeping skin hydrated. Used as an emulsifier, it makes it possible for water and oil based ingredients to mix without separating over time.

 

Stevia Leaf Powder


Stevia Leaf Powder has many benefits for the skin. Studies have shown that stevia prevents wrinkles, halts the signs of aging, reduces acne, fights dermatitis or eczema, and revitalizes the skin!

 

Sunflower Oil


Sunflowers oil is filled with Oleic acid which is a highly effective moisturizer with a small molecule that penetrate deep in to the skin, fighting the visible signs of ageing. With vitamin E and Vitamin A it gently exfoliates the skin from dead skin cells and unwanted oils without stripping the skin of its natural barrier.

 

Sweet Almond Oil


With Vitamin E and Vitamin A, Sweet Almond Oil can help reduce the appearance of acne scarring, stretch marks and other skin blemishes. It’s quickly absorbed into the skin leaving it hydrated and silky smooth without leaving a greasy feeling. With a sweet, nutty aroma similar to marzipan, it almost smells good enough to eat.

 

Sweet Orange Essential Oil


Sweet Orange Oil is a natural astringent, meaning it cleanses the skin from dirt, oil and acts as an exfoliator. One of the most recognizable scents, we use it in multiple products to instantly elevate ones' mood.

 

Table Salt


Table salt is used to help thicken cosmetics. This creates a more pleasing texture on the skin. Table salt is also used as an exfoliator in body scrubs.

 

Tapioca Starch


Tapioca Starch comes from the cassava root native to South America. The root is dried and ground in to a fine powder. This powder is used in many of our products to give them a silky texture on the skin.

 

Tea Tree Essential Oil


Tea Tree Oil is well known for its antibacterial properties and as an astringent that helps keep skin clear from blemishes. With its strong fresh aroma, it is highly effective as a deodorant making it ideal for our foot spray.

 

Titanium Dioxide


Titanium Dioxide is a physical UV filtering ingredient. It works by creating a thin, breathable barrier on the skin that reflects UV light, providing protection from sun damage.

 

Triethanolamine


Triethanolamine (TEA) is an ingredient added to help balance pH and stabilize our bar soaps. By balancing the pH, it allows our soaps to clean away dirt and impurities with out leaving the skin feeling stripped of natural oils. As a stabilizer, TEA assists in creating an amazing lather with bubbles for days.

 

Turmeric


Turmeric is used in skin care products to brighten and exfoliate the skin and has a natural warming property that helps relax tired muscles. Studies have shown that turmeric helps reduce inflammation on the skin.

 

Vitamin B5
